Boys Gets Swine Flu
So amazingly heinously ill these last two days… completely fucked in every direction by some horrible head cold passed onto me by Kirrily.
In other news, I’ve been playing Nintendo 64 emulator with a USB controller which is awesome, and I’ve developed a very deep respect and awe for abstract algebra, which I have decided is supremely beautiful. I’ve just completed an exercise wherein having been unable to factorise a polynomial in a certain Galois field, we then go on to construct the smallest possible extension field in which the polynomial factorises completely into linear factors.
Had to work today for two hours with the Alternate Chef who calls women “girlies” and bragged to me about the percentage of women at his work he’s had it off with (50% soon to be 62.5%). Looking forward to the return of the Regular Chef on Friday.
