DAS HOLIDAES PART ONE
Today: returned from a five-day stint relaxing in the mountains at Mum’s and Kirrily’s. Currently have read Brief History of Time and Trainspotting. Watched Taxi Driver and Se7en. Tonight is Clerks and Reservoir Dogs.
Did six loads of washing today, including sheets and everything. Went shopping to Broadway, bought heaps of awesomely healthy food, as well as things I thought would fix my computer setup but which I discovered are insufficient, as my setup is completely incompatible with Windows 7. Ugh. So either get XP or wait until October until 7 becomes retail and the drivers are made. Or make the drivers myself. :|
Also bought a heinous little TV from vinnies for $25 for the upcoming 25 days of intense international test cricket known as the Ashes. This evening will be devoted to reading, music listening, playing the piano and transcribing music, watching movies, cleaning the house (which is fucked beyond belief), eating a delicious meal (probably pasta puttanesca), and reading.
Holy fuck holidays are good.
